Following Through on Good Intentions

This optimistic time of year tends to be chock full of ambitious resolutions. Whether it be increasing a positive activity or omitting a negative one – chances are that you have every intention to change your routine for the better. The plan often looks good on paper: More reading, less TV, more exercise, less junk food. The new agenda may start out great. You probably feel better physically and mentally with renewed vigor and attitude. But as soon as the new routine falters, it is incredibly easy to regress entirely. Missing one trip to the gym because of a birthday party snowballs into missing an entire week. Before you know it, all of those good intentions have fallen by the wayside.Part of the difficulty in keeping resolutions comes with the fact it is hard to remain steadfast when there is no one else to be accountable to. Having to answer to another party can provide the needed nudge to stay the course. Be it a workout partner that you need to answer to, or a spouse who won't allow junk food in the house, resolutions stand a better chance if you are not left to go it alone. In the realm of your lawn, this may be the year that you decide to take a more active role in its upkeep and improvement. While we whole-heartedly encourage these efforts on your part, we are ready to do our part as well. So don't worry – even if you realize that golf and grilling are preferable to weeding and seeding – KingGREEN will always be here to make sure your lawn is cared for.
